2020-2021 PA Budget

EIPA’s Executive Committee met with OCDEL Deputy Secretary Campanini and Bureau members to discuss next year’s budget and the need to continue putting the needs of infants and toddlers front & center.  In addition, Vice President, Jill Glose and I have jointly and individually met with numerous appointed and elected officials in Harrisburg and other counties regarding an increase to the Infant-Toddler rates in the  2020-21 PA budget.

A partial list of those with whom we’ve met includes:

    Pennsylvania Budget Secretary Swails

Deputy Secretary of Policy & Planning Tara Breitsprecher

Senator Browne’s office (Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman)

Representative Taylor’s office (House Appropriations  Committee Chairman)

Attached are letters we encourage you to send (or you can write your own!) to your local legislators and the Governor’s office advocating for a rate increase to support quality EI service provision for infants and toddlers.
